Bosch CET3-10 Air Compressor

Bosch CET3-10 Air Compressor

Probably one of the smallest air compressors around, the Bosch CET3-10 Air Compressor is only 16 inches long, 17 inches wide, and 16.25 inches tall. It weighs a shade over 57 pounds. Owing to its size and weight, it is a breeze carrying it around at the jobsite. This is made even easier with the compressor’s ergonomic design and balanced weight distribution.

The twin tanks of the compressor are positioned vertically. They are angled inward and are ergonomically balanced. The control panel is mounted in between the tanks, and is recessed to protect it from accidental bumps and collisions. As the carrying handle is above the control panel, this also keeps it from getting in the way of your legs while moving the machine. This way you can keep it close to our body for a natural center of gravity.

A one-horsepower, four-pole induction motor powers the air compressor. This is a quiet machine that generates only 72 dBa allowing you to work close to it without fear of damaging your ears. The contractor-grade air pump is oil-lubricated, which also helps in keeping noise down, and is therefore less prone to overheating and engine wear. These work together to quickly fill the 3-gallon tanks. It takes only 14 seconds to replenish them.

On the control panel is an easy-to-read tank pressure gauge that allows you monitor air pressure levels while another gauge indicates air pressure flowing out to your pneumatic tools. In between these two is the regulator knob. The coupler is on the lower portion of the panel.

To protect the air compressor from excessive air pressure, it is equipped with a safety relief valve that opens when a pre-determined level is reached. Another protective feature is the air filter that screens dust, dirt, and debris keeping them from entering the air pump and assuring that only clean air is supplied to your tools.
