With an induction motor boasting of a peak power of 2 HP, an oil-free pump, and a 6-gallon tank, the Bostitch CAP2060AP Air Compressor can supply adequate air pressure to activate your pneumatic tools.
The motor has an amp draw of 10.5 amps which results in positive start-ups. It is also equipped with a manual-reset overload protection. Both these features contribute to a long service life. The pump, being oil-free, makes the Bostitch CAP2060P Air Compressor an almost no-maintenance equipment. It can deliver 3.4 CFM at 40 PSI and 2.7 CFM at 90 PSI.
Beneath the motor and the pump is a tank with a pancake design. Although it has a large capacity at 6 gallons, it is lightweight contributing to the portability of the air compressor. Attached to the tank is a high flow regulator that controls and delivers compressed air to your tools.
The air compressor has an operating pressure starting from 1 to 135 PSI. It is capable of powering up three finish nailers even at the same time. More air-hungry tools such as roofing and framing nailers, however, can only be used one at a time. It can also be used for blow guns, single sealant dispensers, sandblasters, paint sprayers, grease funds, and air brushes. It features a quick coupler to facilitate connections with an air hose.
