Campbell Hausfeld VT6275 Oiled Vertical Compressor

Crafted for professionals and serious DIYers, the Campbell Hausfeld VT6275 Oiled Vertical Compressor can be used in a variety of applications ranging from tire inflation, through spray painting, auto mechanics jobs, to frame and brad nailing.
The air pump of the Campbell Hausfeld VT6275 is made of heavy-duty cast iron. It has a twin cylinder design thus resulting in higher air pressure inside the tank. As it is intended for heavy use, the pump is lubricated with oil. This leads to a more efficient performance sealing off possible leaks through the gap between the piston and cylinder. It also lowers operating temperature as friction is minimized and the heat is absorbed by the oil. Further, sound generated by the quick up and down movement of the pistons is dampened by the oil.
Owing to its cast iron construction and oil-lubrication, noise from the VT6275 is 35% lower and heat is 60°F less than the average aluminum pumps that are sleeved with cast iron.
The pump is driven by a 3-horsepower electric motor that runs on 240 volts single phase. Power from the motor is transferred to the pump via a belt drive. The belt is shielded for your protection with a belt guard that can be easily removed to access the compressor pump.
The electric motor is perched at the top of the vertical tank. This design is intended to minimize the footprint of the air compressor thus saving you valuable space in your workshop or garage. It is an ASME code tank with a capacity of 60 gallons. This is plenty of compressed air that allows you to operate two or more pneumatic tools at the same time. If only one is used, kick-in minimized. A highly efficient pressure switch sees to this.
