Activated by a 1.7-horsepower motor, the air compressor pump can pack compressed air at a maximum PSI of 150 into the 26-gallon tank. The motor is powered by electricity at 120 volts. The pump is an oil-free type and thus requires minimal maintenance. It also has the advantage of eliminating the possibility of oil drippings on your projects. The tank is oriented vertically which saves on storage space. It is an ASME code tank. Because of its size, it can store enough compressed air for prolonged and heavy-duty use for home projects.
The compressor delivers air with an airflow of 3.8 SCFM at 90 PSI. This is more than sufficient to drive most pneumatic tools for DIYers, such as brad nailers, staplers, and paint sprays.
The motor and pump are mounted at the top of the tank. These are covered by a durable black shroud to prevent accidental contact with them while in operation. A built-in tool and accessory storage is incorporated with the shroud keeping them organized and tidy. Also on the shroud are oversized gauges that are easy to read, as well as controls that are likewise easy to operate.
It is fitted with large wheels to facilitate its transfer from its storage space to where your work is.
