A 2.6-amp motor powers up the air pump quickly and easily. Since it has a low power drawdown, it is safe to use with extension electric cords. The pump runs without oil thus, there is no danger of soiling your work. This feature is often appreciated when working with delicate trims, moldings, furniture, upholstery, and cabinets. This also means that the compressor does not require frequent checking or topping with oil.
Equipped with a high-flow regulator, airflow can be easily adjusted to deliver maximum air pressure when working with hardwoods. Cut-in restart is at 105 PSI, thus assuring you that air pressure will never fall excessively low. Cut-out, on the other hand, is 135 PSI.
