The compressor operates without oil, thus eliminating the need to monitor oil levels and its viscosity as well as the need to periodically add to or change it. And since its 1.5-HP induction motor directly powers the air pump, there are neither belts nor pulleys to adjust or replace. The air pump churns out compressed air at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI, which it moves at 4.8 CFM at 40 PSI, or 3.5 CFM at 90 PSI.
An added advantage to its lack of oil is that air from it is always clean.
