The pump takes power from the motor through a direct drive mechanism which results in less moving parts to wear and fail, as well as less friction and heat. This ultimately means a longer life for both the motor and pump.
The single-phase motor has a 0.5 running horsepower. It runs on 115 volts of electric power with an amperage draw of 4. It has a protective breaker that cuts off the motor in the event of an excessive amperage.
The pump’s cylinder and crankcase are made of durable aluminum. It is a low-maintenance oil-less type, eliminating the need for constant oil level monitoring. It also results in a clean work environment without oil drips. An air intake filter assures that only clean, cool, and dry air is drawn into the pump.
The Senco PC 1010 Air Compressor features a hotdog-style tank that has a capacity of one gallon of compressed air with a maximum pressure of 125 PSI as this is the cut-out point. Cut-in is at 95 PSI. CFM rating at 100, 90, and 40 PSI are 0.6, 0.7, and 1.0 respectively. Pump-up time from start up to 125 PSI is approximately 140 seconds; while recovery time, from 95 – 125 PSI is a mere 42 seconds.
